Dear colleagues, dear guests, ladies and gentlemen,

We have great pleasure to greet you all in behalf of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and ourselves.

Organization of scientific medical meetings, with participation of eminent home and foreign experts, represents huge contribution in development and sharing the latest achievements in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology in our country.

This type of meeting, with international participation, is of general interest and it shows that we are relevant factor in regional scientific frames.

We organize them in order to present new achievements and knowledge wishing to help and successfully treat our patients, bringing in mind all the time that our primary aim and mission is to help our patients the best we can and provide them the best possible treatment.

From our former experiences we have learned that organization of similar meetings and congresses represents relevant and very useful information and experience exchange regarding patients’ treatment. In the same time, this is the opportunity for education of new young colleagues. It should be brought in mind that science, in the same time gastroenterology, becomes more and more sophisticated and improved every day which should be said aloud and shown and applied in practice.

That is why we believe that this kind of meetings should be organized frequently, supporting and promoting application of new scientific experiences in whole region in order to increase patient satisfaction and our satisfaction as well.

Sincere congratulations to Congress organizers who give their best knowledge, effort, energy and enthusiasm in order to represent and show, in the best way, that we are both good hosts and experts.
